A&N Media has unveiled full details of the bespoke services on offer through its newly created Mail Publisher Solutions (MPS) team.
The award-winning circulation team for the Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday have been joined by what was known to the industry as Advantage. This team now offers a unique portfolio of services to the newspaper and magazine industry.
Neil Jagger, Associated Newspapers' circulation director, announced the creation of the 70-strong Mail Publisher Solutions at a special event for current and prospective clients at Kensington Roof Gardens in London. "Mail Publisher Solutions will offer both existing and new clients access to a much broader range of expertise, skills and services than ever before," he explained. "We are excited about its increased capability and potential."
A&N Media's circulation department, which covers Associated's titles including the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday and Northcliffe Newspapers, provides services to a growing number of external clients, covering 60 titles including Hello!, Wall Street Journal Europe and Jamie Magazine.
Guests at the launch heard details of a suite of services available and also how they can benefit from using them in a bespoke style to suit their business. This structure gives Mail Publisher Solutions the strength and capacity to take on further new business.
MPS has also unveiled a new-look website www.mailpublishersolutions.co.uk, produced by A&N Creative, including a guide to its portfolio of services and video content.
Mail Publisher Solutions offers a comprehensive supply-management and logistics service for newspaper and magazine publishers of any size with a strong focus on sales. With a dedicated sales force and strong relationships with key independents and retailers, MPS is in a unique position to influence the sale at point of purchase.
Using the intelligence of A&N Media's Insight and CRM platform, MPS can offer smart, targeted sales activities that they can walk through to point of purchase. This combined with their new in house subscriptions system allows MPS to offer a unique proposition to newspapers and magazines.
"Everyone in the new division will work for our clients," added Neil. "There is no bureaucracy. We are different to other distributors because we are a highly-experienced publisher. We are always looking at new opportunities".
